I began my photography journey in childhood, thanks to my dad who introduced me to my first 35mm camera.

I later earned Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on Photography from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. After graduation, I gained experience in studios that specialized in portrait and wedding photography, as well as working in the darkrooms at General Motors. Eventually, I transitioned to a photographer role, capturing motors, internal communications like org chart photos and meetings, test lab images and retirement parties.

While freelancing for C&G Newspapers, a staff photographer position became available, marking the start of my community news journey. It has been a privilege to meet fascinating individuals and visually tell their stories. I firmly believe in the concept of the "decive moment," as it captures peak action in scene.
